Lately, the mass media has been dominated by the fiscal cliff talks happening in Washington.
They report on the stories, the improvements in the negotiations, the non-improvements in the negotiations, and offers from both sides of the debate have made us wonder if we're any closer to a deal, or further away from it.
The most recent proposal came from Boehner, who offered, among less notable things, tax hikes for people making more than $1 million, signaling that the two sides are coming closer to an agreement.
However, Washington falls into the cycle that it usually does, it could be a very long time before we see a deal worked out, if any. Which makes me wonder, how close to the "fiscal cliff" deadline will Congress and the White House work out a deal?
