By this point in time, everyone has likely heard about the film produced by an Egyptian-American ex-con, titled "Innocence of Muslims". The anti-islamic film was written in prison and produced on a low budget and is about the life of Muhammad. After being spread across the internet and a preview shown on both Egyptian and Libyan state TV, the citizens of both countries were enraged enough to storm both embassies on September 11, causing the death of US ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens and three other diplomats.
The film was produced with the intention to cause hatred and enrage the muslim community and it eventually lead to the murder of a servant of the country. Obviously, we hope that the murderers themselves be held accountable for their actions and be brought to justice, but my question to you all today is, should the producer of the film "Innocence of Muslims" be held accountable and charged for causing the death of Christopher Stevens? Why or why not?
