I believe it is time to categorize the once-popular protest "Occupy Wherever" endangered. The protesters came at the wrong time, in the wrong places. A harsh, cold northeast winter is approaching fast and public support is far outnumbered by opposition (source: topix.com).
At the site of the Wall Street protest, many protesters go home for the evening to get warm, leaving their tents and comrades for a few hours of rest before returning. Sometimes, there are more police than protesters. The sites rarely make the headlines anymore, except for eviction notices. America has turned its back on the groups of people who have stayed for many weeks now.
So I ask you: Is the "Occupy" movement dying? Or will it stay with us for a few more months (or longer)?
