I've been writing a lot on the economy lately, and I am not ready to stop. Recently, reports have come out from our friends in Washington and Wall Street about less than excellent growth in our GDP among a fiasco in Washington and other things, spawning new concerns about a double dip recession.
Personally, I think we will be heading into one whether or not Washington grows up, based on the recent numbers and slowed growth, unless something drastic happens such as a sudden U-turn in our economy. We have been lucky to have been spared from one during these past few years, but the fact of the matter is that we have been put-putting along when a full recovery requires a full-steam-ahead. Simply put: we haven't experienced the growth required to avoid another recession.
But my opinion is only one of many. Do you think we're headed into a double-dip recession? Leave your thoughts and comments below!
