MOSCOW: In a major breakthrough tonight, scientists have discovered an easy and quick way to produce one of the world's most coveted elements.
Antimatter is something of a myth to the average person. Take a hydrogen atom, for example, which is the most common type of matter, which consists of one positive proton and one negative electron. However, in an atom of antimatter, the charges of the particles are flipped, so the proton is negative, while the electron is positive.
I drew a diagram over there ->
Until now, antimatter has been obtained by smashing atoms together and doing other stuff that no one understands. But today, a breakthrough method was discovered that can produce these atoms in extremely high quantities.
Our reporter, Loretta von Birch, was on scene: "Leafy, I spoke to one of the scientists from this breakthrough team, who said that if you turn the atoms of hydrogen inside out, you produce antimatter. Many scientists are not ready to accept such an explanation however, as they are having problems turning their own atoms inside out and rather than some super-cool antimatter, they're getting explosions inside their labs."
Our other reporter, Mowzer, was inside one of those labs during the procedure: "Leafy, it asploded."

Scientists are expected to begin on more complicated atoms later this week. One big goal is to obtain antigold, which could sell for more than twenty times the price of normal gold on the black market.
Until next time, this is LeafyDebater from Newsvine.com.
