The trial of the murder of Caylee Anthony has been long, annoying, and eventually, heartbreaking, because we all knew that she was most likely guilty of everything even though Casey Anthony was acquitted. In a backlash from the ruling (which, please check out this article from JohnRussel) there has been talk of a potential new law, known as "Caylee's Law", which would charge parents with a felony for not reporting a missing child.
I fully support this law. For one, a parent is supposed to love and protect their child, and if they go missing, freak out and curl into a fetal position for days on end. NOT party like there was not tomorrow. There are so many things that can happen to a missing child, especially in today's world. A law like this would have put Casey Anthony away for quite some time, no evidence needed.
So, do you support Caylee's law? Why or why not?
