Ok so I just read about Jared Loughner's inability to stand for a trial because mentally, well, he's not quite "with us".

I really don't understand our legal system these days. Who freaking cares about where HE is? It's only going to cause more pain and suffering for the victims to know that he's getting special attention and the trial has to drag on further. The insane people should just be thrown into prison like the rest of the criminals out there.

I don't care if Loughner doesn't get the fact that he's about to lose the rest of his life to prison. He deserves it. Every second of every minute. He killed a kid and several adults, shot a representative, and endangered many other people's lives. He doesn't even feel sorry about it. Let him rot away in jail, and then, hell. It'll teach him.

It's a waste of my tax dollars to have to put up with this guy. He knows that he shot people, killed people. He planned it out and carried through with his actions. I have dark feelings and thoughts too, but I control my mind and actions. He is perfectly happy to sit back and let his mental health be an excuse.

Rot in hell, Loughner. Stop treating this guy like he's a demonic godling and find him guilty. Let us never hear about him until he dies. A no-nonsense way of doing things in court would, in my opinion, save us a lot of time and energy.

In other news, the man in the Smart case was just found guilty, NINE YEARS after they caught him, because he was also mentally woohoo. Again, WASTE OF TIME. Stop the bullsh*t, stop the nonsense, and let the criminals live behind bars. If they get themselves into trouble there, great. I don't care.
