I can't believe, in the age of computers and greater interaction between us citizens of this planet, the stories that keep coming out of all corners of the world.
We human beings, of which no two are alike, are continuing to kill one another over beliefs, skin color, nationalities, and everything in between. I still can't figure out why we do it. It's been established, time after time, that no human is "better" than one another. Doesn't matter if you're royalty, it's a stupid crown and title. Korean? Great, it's just a nation. Islam? Your choice, it doesn't make you special.
Bottom line is, we're all human. We all have emotions, dreams, and fears. We have common ancestry, a common planet, and common basic needs and functions. Yet, we still hate one another, we still enslave one another, and we still kill one another over the things that we truly make mountains out of molehills. Shia Islam versus Sunni Islam. The tribes of Africa. West versus East. Violence against people of different races. All are problems that we present to ourselves that shouldn't be. Again, in the end we are nothing but human.
So, will we ever come to accept each other? Will we ever stop the genocide?
